ReverseMentorship — Learning Downward Deliberately

A two-round coaching simulation that helps senior professionals deliberately reverse the direction of learning by identifying a younger person to learn from, naming the specific domain, and designing a sustainable monthly cadence that resists the advise-back reflex.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 2 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • The person (10+ years younger) you respect
  • Experience gap
  • Domain you want them to teach you
  • One specific question you would ask first
  • What stops you asking — name it
  • Cadence — how often will you meet
  • Who picks the topic
  • How many specific questions you arrive with
  • Your rule against advising back
  • What you offer in return (genuinely useful, not advice)
