About this simulation

MBA-track 3C negotiation simulation set inside the CoEditor.io / MeridianBank renewal: a leaked procurement memo lands at 6:53 AM and the team has 90 minutes to diagnose the negotiation, design an integrative package, and defend the recommendation in front of the CRO.

Practices the Fisher-Ury-Patton interest-based discipline, the Lax-Sebenius 3-D framework, BATNA/ZOPA computation, anchoring, concession-pattern design, and the independent-justification ethical hinge.

Who it is for

An advanced simulation for participants used to working with the main frameworks and trade-offs of the subject, designed for executive education and experienced professionals.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 3 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Diagnostic frame (positions vs interests)
  • How weak is MeridianBank BATNA, given the migration window cannot open before Q1 2027?
  • Approach to the leaked memo
  • Soft on people, hard on the problem (Fisher-Ury-Patton fourth prescription)
  • Which package to walk in with
  • Opening anchor (ACV year 1, USD millions)
  • Issue framing mode
  • Information-disclosure schedule (negotiator dilemma resolution)
  • Pre-rehearsed fallback sequences (Plan B-C)
  • Answer to Priya leaving-money-on-the-table challenge

What participants track
