When the Meeting Gets Hot

Practice the four-move framework — mediate, let-run, park, call, structural — for handling a live disagreement between two reports in a team meeting. Diagnose the conflict in 30 seconds, pick the right move, and run the post-meeting recovery to prevent the 6-month sulk.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 3 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

  • Is this task or relationship conflict?
  • What layer is this fight actually about?
  • What is the room reading?
  • Pick your move
  • When do you step in?
  • If you mediate, what time-box do you set?
  • Within 30 minutes after the meeting
  • Within 24 hours
  • At the next team meeting
