About this simulation

A 22-minute reflective micro-simulation for mid-career professionals who turned down a real job offer in the last 12 months. Three rounds — reconstruct the offer, run values/craft/risk lenses across it, and extract one portable signal — to convert a still-warm career decision into durable, transferable learning before the memory compresses into a sound bite.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 3 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Reconstruct the offer.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Company / role (anonymise if needed)
  • Compensation delta
  • Title / scope delta
  • Location / format
  • What you said when you declined (the public reason)
  • What you actually thought (the private reason)
  • Of the things you weighed, which two were load-bearing?
  • Primary load-bearing variable
  • What did the role tell you about the work you actually want?
  • Which risk category did you actually decline?
