The Exit Interview I Could Have Given

Reflective micro-simulation: replay a past job exit as the truth-teller you didn't dare to be in the real interview. Three rounds (the soft version, the honest version, the pattern file) produce a private 3-line debrief — red flag, self-pattern, next-time vow — for your own pattern recognition, not for HR.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 3 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: The interview you actually gave.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Tag the exit (job title, year — for your reference, no company name needed)
  • First thing you actually said in the exit conversation
  • Second thing you said
  • Third thing you said (or the line in the farewell DM)
  • Q1. The one person whose behaviour drove you out — and one specific incident
  • Q2. The system or process that kept failing on the same axis
  • Q3. The week you actually decided to leave — what happened
  • Q4. The moment you stopped caring (usually months before the resignation)
  • Q5. What you would tell a friend about to take your old job — over a beer, off the record
  • Red flag — what you now screen for in any future role
