How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Strip the romance.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Candidate language
  • In one sentence — without using the words love or always wanted
  • In the past 12 months, has not having this language cost you something concrete?
  • What does professional fluency mean for your specific use case?
  • Hours per week (months 1–18)
  • 1:1 tutor sessions per week
  • Forcing function for the B2 → C1 sprint
  • Maintenance hours per year (post-C1)
  • Pre-decided continuation criteria for month 18 — check those you commit to
  • Used at work at least 5 times

What participants track

What participants follow on screen as the rounds go by:

  • Corridor Card — rate each language on real career math
  • 5-Year Plan — early sprint, forcing functions, dropout zone
  • Pre-mortem — it is April 2031, the bet failed. Tell the story.
