About this simulation

A two-round AI-coach simulation that reinstates the capacity for public incompetence. The protagonist selects a genuinely novel, publicly-visible skill, then commits to 100 hours over 12 months with a sharing circle and a tolerance plan for the weeks 4 to 8 quit-urge window. Trains far-novelty selection, dose calibration, asymmetric accountability, and discomfort normalisation.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 2 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • The skill you would be visibly bad at
  • Modality (how far from your current expertise)
  • Public component
  • Weekly hours, calendared
  • People you will tell (not Instagram — people who will notice if you stop)
  • Tolerance plan for the quit-urge window (weeks 4 to 8)
  • I accept the identity rule: I am bad at this and that is the whole point.
