About this simulation
A 90-minute, 4-round intermediate Express simulation for Spanish vocational training (Formacion Profesional, grado superior), module 0174 Direccion de alojamientos turisticos of the Tecnico Superior en Gestion de Alojamientos Turisticos.
You are Irene Benages, the new general manager of Hotel Albada, a fictional independent three-star seasonal beach hotel of 80 rooms in Peniscola, for the 2027 season, while a four-star hotel with spa opens in the bay.
Round by round you decide two things: in January the positioning and price and the winter works; in April the season staffing model and the department budgets; in July the summer-peak staffing and the review management; and in October the end of the season and the autumn energy; at each decision point the season is projected again with the decisions taken so far.
Each round is scored on the season profit, the RevPAR, the online reputation and the GOP margin; overtime off the record caps the score. Spanish with English.

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.
How a session runs
- The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
- Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Lunes 11 de enero de 2027: el posicionamiento y la reforma de invierno.
- The simulation can be run in English, Español.
- The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.
