About this simulation

Pre-call rehearsal micro-sim. In 15 minutes, design a 30-minute customer call that delivers bad news (delay, price hike, or feature kill) without burying the lede, plus a 60-minute follow-up email that becomes the surviving version inside the customer organization. Coach scores you on lead-with-the-news discipline, mitigation specificity, room-stacking avoidance, and paper-trail speed.

Renewal probability moves with each decision.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 3 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Diagnose the news and the room.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Type of bad news
  • The bad-news sentence — 15 words or fewer, no softeners
  • Of the three predictable questions, how many you have a written one-paragraph answer for (0–3)
  • Stakeholders mapped — loss + need + who they tell first (0–6)
  • Minute the news lands in the call (0–30)
  • Mitigation 1
  • Mitigation 2
  • Mitigation 3
  • Internal headcount you bring to the call (you + others)
  • Will you discuss renewal commercials in this call?
