About this simulation

A regional tourism board that also runs the official booking platform for 430 small operators pilots generative AI for listing descriptions in five languages. The pilot works: conversion up 14.2%, cost per listing from €310 to €14.

Then a model turns a structured field into the sentence level access, a couple drives 390 km to a farmhouse with four stone steps, and the text has already been ingested by three AI assistants.

Round 1 designs the pilot — content classes, primary and safety metrics, stopping rule, holdout; Round 2 scales it and funds governance from a €46,000 budget too small for the full menu; Round 3 meets the incident, or the near miss, that the Round 2 choices produced — guest, operator, audit scope, downstream copies, disclosure, keep or pause; Round 4 writes the standing policy and the model checks whether four people can staff it.

Teaches content classification by physical consequence, architectural versus procedural controls, experiment design with a stopping rule, liability allocation, and why content in an AI-mediated distribution environment cannot be fully retracted.

Who it is for

An advanced simulation for participants used to working with the main frameworks and trade-offs of the subject, designed for executive education and experienced professionals.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Pilot (18 min).
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Content classes to generate in the pilot
  • Destination editorial — 90 pieces, subjective, no actionable facts
  • Operator listing descriptions — 430 × 5 languages, carries physical claims
  • Translation of human-written listings — 350, errors are the source’s plus drift
  • Itinerary generation on demand — routing, distance and opening-hours claims
  • Customer-service first response — ~640 a month, commits the board
  • Primary metric
  • Safety metric
  • Stopping rule — the result that halts the rollout
  • Randomisation and holdout
