About this simulation

Build a one-page targeted resume that beats the ATS bots and the bored hiring manager. Decode a real-style US entry-level job posting, write quantified action-verb bullets, survive a four-dimension AI rubric (Format / Verbs / Numbers / Keywords), and clear both the algorithmic screen and the 6-second human skim before the Friday deadline.

Who it is for

An introductory simulation that assumes no prior knowledge of the subject, designed for undergraduate courses. It also works in vocational and high-school programmes and in onboarding sessions.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Choose your target posting
  • Keywords you tried to claim from the posting (0–12)
  • Of those, how many can you honestly defend with school activities, chores, volunteering, or class projects?
  • % of bullets that start with a strong action verb
  • % of bullets containing a number, percentage, dollar amount, time period, or named scope
  • Format choice for the one-pager
  • Where do you spend your one revision pass?
  • Keyword strategy
  • Tighten the header — name, contact, location only
  • Bold the role titles so they jump in the 6-second skim
