The learner is Leire Iraizoz, the new maintenance technician of a fictional stamping and robotic-welding plant in Navarra that supplies a car assembly plant just in time, through 2029, quarter by quarter: the maintenance strategy, the technicians per shift, the spares, a vibration alarm on a transfer press, the August shutdown before a model launch, the repairs, the indicators and the jams of the welding cell.
Six critical machines stop the line and some sixty auxiliary ones rarely do: predictive maintenance pays on the critical machines, and on the rest corrective can be enough. Scored on OEE, availability, total maintenance cost, direct cost against budget and non-conformities.
One hard-fail caps the round at 40: bridging the light curtain to clear jams with the cell running (Real Decreto 1215/1997, Annex I 1.8 and Annex II 1.14). Spanish primary, English parity.
