About this simulation

A 90-minute, 4-round Express simulation in the learner's own chair on working an industry event, for lifelong-learning, business-development and executive-education alumni programmes.

Ainara Atxutegi (a fictional business developer at a fictional Bilbao predictive-maintenance firm, Zentzu Sistemas) has one evening, two hours and two hundred people, about thirty of them plant managers, to find the two pilot plants her commercial director wants by March.

You decide how to prepare and what the evening's goal is, how to enter the room and open a conversation, how long to stay with each person and what to ask for, and how to follow up and what to keep of each conversation over the next two weeks.

Scored on the meetings that come out of it, what you learn about the market, your energy, how people remember you, money out of pocket and open risk; a promotional email to people who never asked for it caps the score. Spanish with English.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Miércoles 20 de enero de 2027: la noche antes.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Cómo te preparas
  • La meta de la noche
  • Cómo entras en la sala
  • Cómo abres la conversación
  • Cuánto te quedas con cada persona
  • Qué pides al final
  • Cómo haces el seguimiento
  • Qué guardas de cada conversación
