About this simulation
Carga, estiba y ADR (Load Securing and ADR). Spanish vocational training (FP), grado medio: module 1207 Servicios de transporte de mercancias of the Tecnico en Conduccion de Vehiculos de Transporte por Carretera (Real Decreto 555/2012).
Oscar Ruesta, 21, a newly qualified driver at the fictional haulier Transportes Larrabe S.L., loads a curtain-sider semi-trailer with twenty-two pallets for three drops, including packaged dangerous goods (class 3 and class 8), and mid-morning a solvent drum starts to leak.
Four rounds, each an action and a document, check, alert or report choice: the load plan and the ADR documents; securing and the walk-round check; the leak on the road and the alert; restowing and the incident report. Scored on safety margin, delay per phase, goods affected after what a good document, check or alert protects, and the client's confidence.
Two hard-fails cap the round at 40: leaving with an unsecured load and driving on with a leaking dangerous-goods package. Training level only; decision practice that complements supervised practical training. Spanish player-facing strings with English parity.
Who it is for
An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.
How a session runs
- The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
- Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Martes 9 de febrero, 06:30, muelle de Riberdel: el plan de carga.
- The simulation can be run in English, Español.
- The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.
