A 90-minute, 4-round basic Express simulation for Spanish vocational training (Formacion Profesional, grado superior), module 1548 Control de aguas of the Tecnico Superior en Quimica y Salud Ambiental (Real Decreto 283/2019).

The learner is Ainara Soteras, a newly qualified water-quality technician at the fictional operator of a supply zone of three towns and some 24,000 residents, who plans the 2027 operational control, takes the samples, reads the results and proposes the response.

Four situations set the operator's course: the control programme and how a sample is taken, coliforms and E. coli at a tap of a sector fed by an old tank with almost no residual chlorine, a storm, turbid water at the plant and E. coli confirmed in the network, and the causes of the year and the information to the residents. Warning in time protects more than correcting fast.

Scored on compliance under control, the cost of the measures, the days to restore normal supply and the residents-days exposed; training-level decision practice that complements the operator's protocols and the health authority's instructions and gives no medical advice.

Two hard-fails cap the round at 40: recording the result as a laboratory error without notifying it and keeping silent while supplying with E. coli confirmed (Real Decreto 3/2023, articles 23 and 24). Spanish primary, English parity.

An introductory simulation that assumes no prior knowledge of the subject, designed for undergraduate courses. It also works in vocational and high-school programmes and in onboarding sessions.
