A 90-minute, 4-round basic Express simulation for Spanish vocational training (Formacion Profesional, grado superior), module 1579 Gestion de operaciones, calidad y medioambiente of the Tecnico Superior en Gestion del agua (Real Decreto 113/2017).

The learner is Nerea Lizandra, the operations and quality technician of the fictional public water company of a mancomunidad of eleven towns (21,500 subscribers), which runs a drinking-water treatment plant and a wastewater treatment plant under an integrated system certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Through 2027 she plans operations by process and risk, assures competence for the critical tasks, handles a trihalomethane incident, maintains the plants by criticality, runs a risk-based internal audit, closes non-conformities by root cause, evaluates environmental compliance and brings data to the management review before the recertification audit. A management system is worth what its corrective actions are worth.

Scored on process indicators on target, cost per subscriber, incident days and external findings; no treatment, dosing or sampling procedures and no parametric values. Two hard-fails cap the round at 40: closing a drinking-water incident as an internal non-conformity without confirming, informing the health authority or notifying SINAC (Real Decreto 3/2023 arts.

An introductory simulation that assumes no prior knowledge of the subject, designed for undergraduate courses. It also works in vocational and high-school programmes and in onboarding sessions.
