El Tipo de Cambio
Simulation to practice FX risk identification, hedging instrument selection, crisis response under sudden devaluation, and long-term treasury policy…
Assessment simulation for a client assessment centre, not for the open catalog. The participant spends one year (six rounds, about 60 minutes) as an admissions analyst at Arvela Crédito, a fictional consumer-credit lender in Zaragoza with a EUR 2,400M book.

With an eight-day analysis budget they choose which evidence to see, then set the scorecard cut-off, the pricing, a point-of-sale rule and the growth they commit to the credit committee.
In April the head of Sales brings a pre-approved campaign that includes the riskiest band; in July the arrears of their own January vintage arrive together with regional layoffs, and they explain the split to the committee and correct course; in October they set collections and complaints handling for customers in difficulty; in December they choose their opening messages, a 2028 proposal and the cost of risk they commit to.
Three short texts are written inside the simulation: a reply to Sales, an explanation to the committee and a final recommendation. Every option is coded in advance against the client competency model; the coach is silent and the score is hidden, and the evidence log, the texts and the outcome figures are kept for a human assessor.
All the data a decision needs are inside the simulation and no prior credit-risk knowledge is assumed. Every coefficient is fixed, so the same decisions always give the same results and the same codes.
An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.
