About this simulation
A 90-minute, 4-round basic Express simulation for Spanish vocational training (Formacion Profesional, grado superior), module 1523 Gestion administrativa sanitaria of the Tecnico Superior en Documentacion y Administracion Sanitarias (Real Decreto 768/2014).
The learner is Itziar Moncayola, the new administrative technician of the economic-administrative unit of a fictional public high-resolution health centre, quarter by quarter through 2027: the purchasing route, the stock policy, identifying the third party obliged to pay (mutuas, traffic insurers, private insurers), the billing cycle, the follow-up of unpaid invoices and rejections, budget control, the units' consumption and the year-end close.
Billing third parties on time is cash the centre has already earned. Scored on spending against budget, stock-outs, cash collected from third parties and billing lost. Two hard-fails cap the round at 40: splitting orders into minor contracts to avoid a tender (Ley 9/2017, arts. 99.2 and 118.1) and attaching the whole clinical history to invoices (Ley 41/2002 art. 16.4; GDPR art. 5.1.c).

Who it is for
An introductory simulation that assumes no prior knowledge of the subject, designed for undergraduate courses. It also works in vocational and high-school programmes and in onboarding sessions.
How a session runs
- The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
- Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Lunes 11 de enero de 2027: las compras y el almacén.
- The simulation can be run in English, Español.
- The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.
