About this simulation

A 90-minute, 4-round Express simulation in the learner's own chair as a project lead with two meetings at the same hour, and the ten months of meetings that follow: a one-page pre-read and ten minutes first at the committee that decides her project, with a delegate who opens the supplier review she owns with a script and limits, rather than accepting both and arriving late to each, postponing a supplier who has already flown in, staying away, or telling each meeting she is held up in the other; the weekly project meeting redesigned around the people who decide rather than kept at ninety minutes with eleven people, cancelled into email or handed over without authority; the safety coordination meeting for her own crane lift attended for her item rather than skipped or delegated to a contractor's foreman; a customer's urgent call attended with the data rather than left to others; a one-page decision log for the people who were not there; and a supplier's corrective action verified at the line and a team meeting norm for the next year.

Nuria Lecera Azuara (fictional) is the continuous-improvement project lead at Envases Perdiguera, a fictional maker of thermoformed food packaging in La Puebla de Alfinden (Zaragoza), whose 240,000-euro quick-changeover kit for line 3 is set to save 160,000 euros from Easter to December; Moldes Vouzela (fictional) is the mould maker, Lacteos Isabena (fictional) a dairy customer.

You decide what you do with the clash and how you cover the other meeting, what you do with the weekly meeting and the safety meeting, what you do with the customer's call and how decisions reach the people who were not there, and how you close the supplier's corrective action and what you change in your team's meetings.

Scored on your voice in the decisions that matter, the chance that the project reaches its target on time, the project's savings kept, your time and energy, your team's trust and your credibility with management, and open risk; three shortcuts (signing the attendance sheet of a safety meeting you skipped, sending an AI note-taker to record a customer's call without telling them, signing the minutes of a closure you did not attend) come back and cap the score.

Spanish primary, English included.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Lunes 8 de febrero de 2027: el choque.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Qué haces con el choque del jueves
  • Cómo cubres la otra reunión
  • Qué haces con la reunión semanal del proyecto
  • Qué haces con la reunión de coordinación de seguridad
  • Qué haces con la llamada urgente de Lácteos Isábena
  • Cómo llega lo decidido a quien no estuvo
  • Qué haces con el cierre del 8D de Moldes Vouzela
  • Qué cambias en las reuniones de tu equipo para 2028
