What participants learn

After the session, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate how the pace of a first response and the depth of the initial investigation shape legal exposure, stakeholder trust and ethical standing when a child-labor allegation reaches the supply chain
  • Compare remediation, reform, exit and defensive responses to a supplier's labor abuse by asking who bears each option's cost: the company, the supplier or the affected children
  • Design a stakeholder-communication priority whose public commitments do not outrun what the company has verified
  • Construct a human-rights due-diligence system that scales from one exposed supplier to the whole supply chain under a finite budget, and critique how a scoring model represents that choice

Prerequisites

  • Prior exposure to stakeholder theory
