Sobre la simulación

A 90-minute, 4-round basic Express simulation on a young licensed security officer working the lobby desk of a mixed-use office tower for four shifts: reading the post orders and the pass-down log before the shift, applying one access-control rule to every visitor without waving anyone through on appearance, de-escalating an angry former employee and calling for help at the right moment, observing and reporting instead of detaining anyone beyond a private person's authority (Tex.

Code Crim. Proc. art. 14.01(a); Tex. Penal Code §20.02(a)), writing an incident report as it happened and never rewriting it for the police (Tex.

Penal Code §37.08), treating a person sheltering in a stairwell with respect and leaving a written pass-down log, for high-school Career and Technical Education in security and protective services, law-enforcement services and public safety, with Texas noncommissioned security officer licensing (Tex. Occ. Code §1702.221) named as a hook.

Marisol Treviño, 20, a fictional licensed security officer with the fictional Lone Star Sentinel Security, works the lobby of the fictional Bayou Meridian Tower in Houston, Texas, in March 2028.

Round by round you decide how to start the shift and run access control, how to handle a former employee and a tenant's request to hold him, how to write the incident report and treat a man asleep in a fire stair, and how to handle a fight in the food hall and the handover; at each decision point the post's record at the end of the fourth shift is projected again with the decisions taken so far.

Each round is scored on the calls resolved safely, the minutes to resolve, the escalation rate, the report audit and the tenants' trust, with open violations shown alongside; detaining a person beyond your authority, or falsifying an incident report, caps the score. English with Spanish.

La primera ronda arranca con: 6 March: the post and the lobby.
