Sobre la simulación

The key account manager of a fictional Spanish predictive-maintenance company has nine weeks to win a five-person buying committee at an industrial bakery with four plants: a subscription worth 0.60 million euros a year that only pays off if it is renewed. Stage 1: the head of maintenance, the operations director who owns the budget and what to say about the product limits.

Stage 2: the financial director, purchasing and the head of IT security. Stage 3: a competitor 20 percent cheaper - the price, the urgency and the proposal. Stage 4: a gesture before signing, the contract terms and what is promised.

Every decision offers a genuine influence lever (reciprocity, social proof, authority, scarcity, commitment and consistency, liking, unity) and a manufactured version that adds more support today.

The model is deterministic: fixed effects on committee support, trust and an ethical-drift index; support sets the probability of signing, while trust and drift set the probability of renewal, and both feed the expected value of the account over three years.

The score combines the quality of each decision with four outcomes and is capped when a decision breaks the law (a false rumour about the competitor, a gift to committee members before signing). Inspired by published research on influence and persuasion. Spanish (primary, peninsular register) and English.
