About this simulation

A 90-minute, 4-round Express simulation in the learner's own chair on the thirty days after a team's pulse survey collapses: sharing the results the same week, in person and in full, and owning the manager's part; finding the causes by listening to each person and putting the data beside it rather than waiting for a company plan; fixing the cause the team named - an unpredictable weekend rota - rather than buying a dinner or a workshop; negotiating a new client's onboarding upwards with data rather than spreading it; holding the junior with an offer through stay conversations; dealing privately and with facts with a coordinator who mocks mistakes; planning the client's peak with the team; and closing the loop at day thirty.

Elena Abellan Sornichero (fictional) leads the nine-person business-customer desk at Logistica Carrascoy, a fictional parcel and logistics operator in Murcia; the quarterly pulse survey has just dropped from 71 to 46, the worst in the company, and her director wants a plan in thirty days.

You decide how you share the results and how you find the causes, what you change first and what you do with the new client added for November, what you do when your best junior has an offer and about the comments on the shift coordinator, and what you do on day thirty with the largest client's peak and the re-pulse.

Scored on the causes understood and tackled, the chance that the team gets its energy back, the largest client's revenue protected, your time and energy, your team's trust and the senior specialist's trust, and open risk; two shortcuts (asking the survey provider who wrote the comments, cancelling the December holidays the team agreed in June) come back and cap the score. Spanish primary, English included.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Lunes 4 de octubre de 2027: los resultados.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.
