About this simulation

A 90-minute, 4-round procedural Express simulation for the Spanish vocational title Tecnico Superior en Promocion de Igualdad de Genero (module 1402, Prevencion de la violencia de genero): the first care of a woman who shows indicators of gender violence at a municipal equality point.

The learner is Ainhoa Orbaneja Tobes (fictional), equality technician in Valdeserna, a fictional Spanish town; Sonia Retuerta Gil (fictional) comes to enrol in an employment course and discloses control, a chair thrown after she spoke of separating, and a shotgun at home; her children Gael and Olaia were present.

In four moments you decide how you open the interview and how you assess the risk; which referral and which safety plan she leaves with before she has to go home; what you do when she goes back and what you do about the children; and how you accredit her situation without a complaint and with whom you coordinate the case until June.

The strong path: a private room and no questioning, a structured risk assessment on named factors and her own fear, a coordinated referral on the same day with her consent, a safety plan built with her that needs no paper at home, a safe contact channel, the children referred as victims, the accreditation report of article 23 of Ley Organica 1/2004 and a coordination table with the minimum data.

Scored on protocol fit, residual risk, the chance that she stays in the protection pathway, your time and energy, her trust, your standing with the coordination network and practice risk; mediation is barred, and three shortcuts (the plan sent to the phone he checks, a call to the aggressor, the full file sent to a third party) come back and cap the score.

Fictional people and places; real Spanish law cited at principle level; training level only. Spanish primary, English included.

Who it is for

An intermediate simulation for participants who already know the core concepts of the subject, designed for master's and MBA programmes.

How a session runs

  1. The instructor creates a session from the Eureka dashboard and invites the participants.
  2. Participants play 4 rounds. In each one they submit their decisions and the simulation calculates the results. The first round opens with: Martes 9 de febrero de 2027, 9:10: la primera entrevista.
  3. The simulation can be run in English, Español.
  4. The instructor follows each participant's progress and results from the dashboard, and uses the class results for the debrief.

Decisions participants make

The decisions participants make during the simulation:

  • Cómo abres la entrevista
  • Cómo valoras el riesgo
  • Qué haces con la derivación antes de que se vaya
  • Con qué plan de seguridad se va
  • Qué haces ahora que ha vuelto a «lo normal»
  • Qué haces con Gael y Olaia
  • Qué haces con la acreditación de su situación
  • Qué haces con el caso hasta junio
