Sobre la simulación

The learner is a 47-year-old key-account director at a fictional logistics firm in Valencia whose 81-year-old father has just been discharged after a stroke and can no longer live alone, and must organise his care for the next 24 months without deciding for him.

Decision 1, Monday 1 March 2027: where he lives (with her, at his own home with support, or a private residence now), the dependency route under the Spanish dependency law (wait and see, apply now, or pay privately and never apply) and how the decision is made (the siblings decide, he is asked first, or the doctor decides).

Decision 2: who covers the day (she does, a registered carer plus a day centre, or a cash-in-hand carer with no contract), the home (nothing, a full refurbishment, or the basic adaptations and telecare) and how three siblings share it (whoever is nearest, equal thirds, or by roles and money).

Decision 3: the legal support (his card and PIN, court later, or a preventive power of attorney signed with him at the notary), the benefit asked for in the care programme (the family-carer benefit, none, or the benefit linked to a paid service) and whose money pays first (the children, his savings without a budget, or a budget with his money first).

Decision 4, after a fall: the next year (move him in, a residence, or review the plan with him and ask for a grade revision), her own limits (hold on, a year of unpaid leave, or respite) and the family flat (silence, sell now, or a written plan agreed with him). A deterministic month-by-month model turns these into a care index, his voice, her hours a week, what she pays in thousands of euros and open risk.

The score combines the quality of each decision with those outcomes and is capped when care is paid cash in hand without a contract. Spanish (primary, Spain) and English.
