Sobre la simulación

A 90-minute, 4-round intermediate Express simulation for Spanish vocational training (Formacion Profesional, grado superior), module 0653 Gestion financiera of the Tecnico Superior en Administracion y Finanzas.

You are Lucia Vercher, the new finance technician of Forn de la Vall, a fictional industrial bakery in Paterna (Valencia) that signs a five-year supermarket contract and needs a 600,000 euro production line; the plan runs from 2027 to 2031.

Round by round you decide two things: in January 2027 how to finance the line (loan, financial leasing, renting or cash) and the interest type (fixed, variable, mixed or capped); in January 2028 the working-capital financing and the equity; in January 2029, after the Euribor jumps, the response on the debt and a second investment appraised by its NPV; and in January 2030 where to place the surplus and the dividend policy; at each decision point the five-year plan is projected again with the decisions taken so far.

Each round is scored on the partners NPV, the lowest cash balance, the overdraft left uncovered, the financial cost, average gearing and cumulative profit; paying suppliers beyond the 60-day legal limit, or letting an investor in without the general meeting and the partners preferential right, caps the score. Spanish with English.

Cómo funciona una sesión

  1. El docente crea una sesión desde el panel de Eureka e invita a los participantes.
  2. Los participantes juegan 4 rondas. En cada una envían sus decisiones y la simulación calcula los resultados. La primera ronda arranca con: Lunes 11 de enero de 2027: cómo pagar la línea y a qué tipo.
  3. La simulación se puede jugar en: English, Español.
  4. El docente sigue el progreso y los resultados de cada participante desde el panel, y usa los resultados de la clase para el debriefing.

  • Política de dividendos (junta general)
