Sobre la simulación
The learner is a 39-year-old brand manager from Madrid who has followed her husband to Mexico City, where he runs his company subsidiary on a three-year assignment; they landed with two children, 9 and 6, as visitors, and her mother lives alone in Valladolid.
Decision 1, Monday 2 August 2027: where the family lives (a large house far from everything, a flat in a walkable mixed neighbourhood near the school, or a gated expatriate complex), which school (the first with places, a Mexican bilingual school with a first-term plan, or an international school) and her status (residence on family unity without permission to work, with permission to work and an excedencia from her Spanish employer, or her Madrid job kept in hiding on the visitor entry).
Decision 2, the low point in November: her network (video calls home only, a local network, or the expatriate club), her son who wants to go back (wait, a plan with the school and a club, or a tutor) and the family time (his 60-hour weeks, a deal on evenings and Sundays, or three weeks in Madrid at Christmas).
Decision 3, after her mother breaks a hip: the care (bring her to Mexico, a care system coordinated with her brother and fixed trips, or three months in Valladolid), her work (keep waiting, a local brand role, or work for Spain on Madrid hours) and the couple (nothing, one evening a month, or talk when it explodes).
Decision 4, the year-one checkpoint when the company asks for three more years: stay with no conditions, stay with conditions and a review date, or go back now; whose career leads next; and whether to keep the way back open.
A deterministic month-by-month model over 24 months turns these into her week of paid work and home, the family adjustment, her career trajectory, what the family pays outside the package, what the household gains against staying in Madrid and open risk. The score combines the quality of each decision with those outcomes and is capped when the Madrid job is kept in hiding on a visitor entry.

Cómo funciona una sesión

- El docente sigue el progreso y los resultados de cada participante desde el panel, y usa los resultados de la clase para el debriefing.
