Sobre la simulación

The same weekly coordination meeting, run five Mondays in a row (1 February - 1 March 2027): the learner is the new operations manager of a fictional Zaragoza food distributor who inherits a Monday meeting of fourteen people, eighty minutes and almost no decisions, and redesigns it block by block.

Block 1 (design, from meeting 2): the agenda (the usual round-the-table of area updates, no agenda, or an agenda made of questions to decide with owner, decider and minutes, news moved to a written Friday note), who attends (the same fourteen, seven regulars plus per-item guests, or only four directors), and the pre-read (nothing, a 30-slide deck on Sunday night, or one page per decision on Friday).

Block 2 (running it, from meeting 3): the time (open-ended, a hard 25 minutes with minutes per item, or 90 minutes booked), the floor (let it flow while the sales director talks and the night-shift lead stays silent, tell him in front of everyone he talks too much, or a structured round that starts with whoever has spoken least), and the decision rule (everyone must agree, one named decider per item with disagree-and-commit, or the general manager decides everything at the end).

Block 3 (close and follow up, from meeting 4): recording (everyone takes notes, four-page minutes on Thursday, or a decision log on screen in the last three minutes), the opening (area news, a three-minute review of last week decision log, or reading overdue tasks out by name and sending the list up), and a warehouse proposal to change forklift traffic in a loading dock (park it, decide it now, or approve in principle and consult the prevention delegate before applying it, as Spanish occupational-risk law requires).

Block 4 (make it hold, meeting 5): a request to add four observers (accept, send them the decision log instead, or refuse flatly), the general manager wanting to reopen a closed decision (reopen it, confront her in front of everyone, or ten minutes in private asking for new information), and how to check the meeting (nothing, a two-minute anonymous check at every close, or a 30-question survey).

The model is deterministic: each meeting spends its minutes on updates and items, decides a share of what it discusses, and a share of what it decides is carried out within the week; undone decisions return to the backlog.

The score combines the quality of each choice with decisions executed, person-hours, open items, participation and a respect index, and is capped when someone is corrected or exposed in public (falling with the number of witnesses) or a safety change is decided without the legally required consultation. Spanish (primary, Spain) and English.

Para quién es

Una simulación de nivel intermedio para participantes que ya conocen los conceptos básicos de la materia, pensada para programas de máster y MBA.
