Sobre la simulación

The learner owns 100% of a fictional Granada company that sells refillable household cleaning products by subscription and through independent shops (EUR 1,100,000 of sales in 2026, growing 45%, a 58% gross margin, a small profit and EUR 210,000 in the bank) and must decide, after a competitor raises a seed round, whether and how to fund growth.

Decision 1, February 2027: what the founder wants from the company (the biggest brand, never to give up equity, or a written test of venture fit), how the need is sized (gut, top-down market share or a bottom-up 18-month cash plan) and what is shown to financiers (a pitch deck, raw statements or a data room).

Decision 2: the path (a seed fund, a pre-seed fund, business angels, debt without giving up equity through a participative loan and revenue-based financing, or customer prepayments), the amount (the most offered, the sized need or the minimum) and the negotiating priority (best price, clean terms or closing fast).

Decision 3: the pace of spending (all in 12 months, tranches tied to milestones or hoarding), who guarantees the stock line (an unlimited personal guarantee, a capped one or a mutual guarantee society) and what is promised for 2028 (tripling, the bottom-up plan or no targets).

Decision 4, November 2028: a competitor cuts prices 20% and a supermarket chain offers a national listing - all 300 stores, a 40-store pilot or decline; match, hold or hold with a loyalty pack; and how the chain stock is financed (own cash, paying suppliers at 120 days, or factoring the chain invoices).

The model is deterministic: each path has its own amount range, price, chance of closing and months of searching; growth follows the money deployed with diminishing returns; a cash cushion in November 2028 sets survival, cut further by the growth mandate that equity carries; and the expected value of the founder stake nets the personal guarantee when the company fails.

The score combines the quality of each decision with that expected value, survival, control and the personal guarantee, and is capped when suppliers are paid beyond the 60-day legal limit of the Spanish late-payment law. Spanish (primary, Spain) and English.
