Incidentes en el laboratorio (Lab Safety Incidents). Nerea Sallent, 19, a laboratory technician at the fictional water and food testing laboratory Laboratorio Ribasolla S.L. in Huesca, lives one long day.
Four rounds, each an action and a protection, labelling, evacuation or reporting choice: reorganising the reagent store and labelling decanted bottles; a concentrated hydrochloric acid spill and the protective equipment; an incipient hexane fire on a hot plate and what the rest of the laboratory does; a sodium hydroxide splash in a colleague's eye and the incident report.
Scored on safety margin, laboratory downtime per phase, avoidable damage (reagent, material, clean-up and stoppage) after what a good choice avoids, and a safety-barriers index. Three hard-fails cap the round at 40: storing a strong oxidiser with flammable solvents, throwing water on a burning flammable liquid and trying to neutralise a chemical in the eye.

Una simulación de nivel intermedio para participantes que ya conocen los conceptos básicos de la materia, pensada para programas de máster y MBA.
Cómo funciona una sesión
- El docente crea una sesión desde el panel de Eureka e invita a los participantes.
- Los participantes juegan 4 rondas. En cada una envían sus decisiones y la simulación calcula los resultados. La primera ronda arranca con: Martes 9 de febrero, 08:30: el almacén de reactivos.
- La simulación se puede jugar en: English, Español.
- El docente sigue el progreso y los resultados de cada participante desde el panel, y usa los resultados de la clase para el debriefing.
