Sobre la simulación

A 90-minute, 4-round Express simulation in the learner's own chair as a commercial director whose independent board member messages her all day, promises a customer a discount, instructs her team and pushes his own firm: telling the chief executive first and naming the pattern to him face to face, asking what worries him, rather than enduring it or writing to the whole board; agreeing one channel instead of answering every message; giving him a bounded role with named introductions and dates; redirecting his promise with him inside the price policy rather than paying it quietly or disowning it in writing; having him talk to the team through her; asking him to declare his conflict of interest to the board; and bringing one plan with his best ideas to the board meeting, then a written working agreement.

Irene Azlor Sarsa (fictional) is commercial director of Guara Sensorica, a fictional Huesca company selling cold-chain sensors and software; the director, Anselmo Abizanda (fictional), joined the board after a 6-million-euro Series A led by a fictional fund, and the quarter commits 640,000 euros of new annual recurring revenue.

You decide how you take it up and through which channel, what role you give him and what you do with his promise, what you do about his messages to your team and his firm's proposal, and how the board meeting and the relationship from then on are handled.

Scored on what the director really adds, the chance of signing the largest account in time, the new recurring revenue protected, your time and energy, the director's trust and your team's trust, and open risk; two shortcuts (his firm's order split under your approval limit, a pipeline report dressed up for the board) come back and cap the score. Spanish primary, English included.
