Recurring. During the licence period a student can sign in as many times as needed and play the simulations their instructors assign, from the first round to the last.
The institutional licence (Eureka Full) is annual: it gives a year of access to the full Eureka Basics catalogue, with unlimited sessions, and the institution distributes it freely across its faculties and programmes. For a single course there is Eureka Starter, with no annual commitment.
No. The licence is per user, not per use: a licensed student can access and use the simulations as many times as needed, from the start through to the full completion of each one, without consuming another licence.
To the full catalogue. The institutional licence gives access to every simulation in the Eureka Basics catalogue, with unlimited sessions, institutional analytics and the instructor dashboard. Eureka Starter covers one course with five sessions chosen from the same catalogue, and simulations built for your institution are quoted separately.
Only a standard web browser and internet access are needed. No additional software or specialized hardware is required, making them easy to use on any device. Broadband internet is not required.
Access to the simulators works in two main ways. The first is through an individual link that the professor provides to each participant. This link is unique per user and gives direct, secure access to the corresponding simulator. The second option is through integration with the institution's learning management system (LMS), which allows students to sign in with their institutional credentials.
The simulators are designed to run fully online and require no installation, so students can access them from anywhere, synchronously or asynchronously. They run in any standard web browser, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and are compatible with standard personal computers, with no specialized hardware. A high-speed internet connection is not required, which makes access easy from many locations and network conditions.

Adapting one of our simulations to your course (scenario, data, terminology and learning objectives) takes 1–2 weeks. A new simulation built for your course is ready in weeks, not months: the platform, the instructor dashboards, the analytics and the languages already exist, so what gets written is your scenario, your model and your debrief. The exact timeline depends on its scope and is agreed when it is scoped.
We provide instructional materials, along with technical support included in the cost of the license. This ensures professors are well prepared and can make the most of our simulators.

In addition, most simulators allow exporting this data to Excel for further analysis, which makes it easier to evaluate performance, prepare the debriefing and document learning evidence, for example for accreditation or Assurance of Learning processes.

Yes. The platform runs in 16 languages, and each simulator lists on its own page the languages it ships in. If you need one it does not list yet, ask us.
